Nasi Lemak Bahru was born from a desire to bring back something familiar — in a way that feels warm, honest, and a little more present.
“Nasi lemak” is more than a dish; it's a memory. Of mornings wrapped in banana leaves, the rich aroma of coconut rice and sambal, and a sense of comfort that stays with you.
Rooted in Peranakan and Malay influences, every detail — from the batik-style elements to the bold flavours — is crafted to feel timeless, yet refreshingly current.
“Bahru” — a stylised form of baru, meaning “new” — stands for quiet reinvention. Not a departure from tradition, but a gentle way to carry it forward.
